A young musician's car breaks down in the Arizona desert, forcing him to seek refuge at a mysterious ranch house. There, an old couple welcomes him with an unusual proposition: to view their collection of 3D slides that hold the power to showcase either glimpses of the future or portals to alternate realities.

Intrigued and trapped by the storm, the musician agrees, embarking on a series of surreal adventures through each slide. As each story unfolds, followed by his interactions with the enigmatic couple, he questions the nature of reality and grapples with the possibilities laid bare before him. The ORACLE becomes a captivating interplay between fantastical tales and the musician's journey of self-discovery, all guided by the power of the captivating slides.

Twisters galore.

Frank Fiore has written an anthology of stories that entertained me, intrigued me and even surprised me with unexpected story twists. And unlike so many compilations of short stories, Fiore did not just shove a handful of tales between a cover and call it a day. The stories are skillfully bound together by an exciting central story that drew me from story to story and onward as it enticed me towards its own unexpected climax.

I wholeheartedly recommend this for science fiction fans and fans of the weird, wonderful and spellbinding.

Frank Fiore has a keeper in this book. I had not thought about Twilight Zone in, okay let's just say eons, and when I started Oracle,I was right back in front of the television and the unexpected staring back at me. This time from words, not a TV screen. There were no commercials and I did not have to wait for next week's episode. Oracle will keep you up until the last page is turned. The characters are odd, compelling, and leave the reader with, are they for real? Hey, remember Twilight Zone, we never knew if this was real, planned, or unreal. Frank's characters leave you with these same feelings. Am I really reading this and better yet, am I in this story. Most of the time I felt drawn into the depths of the unexplained. Great writing and look for more.

"The Oracle", what a wonderful book with different stories all around, seeing through a stereopticon. Not that I know what that is, but Mr Frank said so and it fitted wonderful into the stories. And the ending was marvellous. Every story had its own mystic in sci-fi. Mystery, intrigue, fantasy and alternative reality. Just wonderfully mingled.
I was surprised how he did the plot and went from one story to the next.
Yes, I am giving Mr Frank Fiore 5 stars for his wonderful, mysterious book, "The Oracle".
